Thailand's King Approves PM Anutin’s Cabinet
The official Royal Gazette revealed that the 36-member cabinet, handpicked by Anutin, includes six deputy prime ministers and other key ministers. This move follows his recent appointment as the nation's prime minister earlier this month.
Under Anutin's leadership, the Bhumjaithai Party will head the coalition government, securing the largest portion of the cabinet with 12 seats, including three within the prime minister’s office. Additionally, Anutin will also serve as the country's interior minister.
This royal endorsement clears the way for the new cabinet to take an oath of allegiance before the king and present its policy agenda to the parliament—final steps before the ministers officially assume office.
