Turkish, Chinese Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Conflicts

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in a conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, focusing on efforts to ease tensions between Israel and Iran, as well as addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, according to sources from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

During their telephone discussion, the two ministers examined recent regional developments and initiatives aimed at reducing the conflict between Israel and Iran.

Fidan strongly criticized the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza and condemned the "ongoing Israeli genocide," as reported by the ministry sources.

Both officials reiterated their endorsement of a two-state solution, considering it the sole practical approach to resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Additionally, they touched upon their bilateral political and economic relations, expressing a shared determination to enhance cooperation in fields such as trade and investment.
